Clearsource is an independent Asia-based company that trades physical base metals and energy products including petroleum, gas and biomass. It was set up in June 2012, and is a private limited company incorporated in Singapore.
CEO Mike Scott is developing Clearsource with the goal of growing the company into a significant commodities trader with a worldwide perspective towards the physical trading, shipping and storing of energy products and metals.
Clearsource is committed to doing business in a professional, socially responsible manner; and has secured the trust and support of several trade finance institutions, national oil companies and independent regional traders.
In October 2013, Clearsource set up a subsidiary, Clearsource Commodity Services Ltd, in the United Kingdom, to support the growing business of its Singapore headquarters.
