D-SIMLAB is a spin-off from the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), a research institute under the purview of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapores national research agency.
Since the incorporation of the company in Singapore in October 2006, D-SIMLAB has attracted two investors: Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd, the commercialisation arm of A*STAR, and Imprimatur Capital, a UK headquartered technology investor.
