FLSâ„¢ Method provides our teacher an unusual level of autonomy over the curriculum, a noted difference to the centralized approach in many other schools. There are no curriculum specially for gifted children, but teachers may devise individual programs for them. They may choose their own text books, plan their activities and decide on the medium of instruction . They are not required to give students any homework. In fact, at FLS, there is minimal amount of homework, many a times none at all. Students also call teachers by their nick names. This informal relationship between teachers and students is deliberate.
