Founded by Singapore family to manage their investment portfolio. First external client was an Asian family with a minority interest. Today GAO also advises global family offices and foundations on investment opportunities. We are a Family Office Co-Op (FoCo) where families share ideas.
Partners have experience with both the Buy side and the Sell side, and understand the needs of family offices as well as the inherent conflicts of interest in existing solutions.
Having been born and raised in Asia, but educated and trained in the US, Partners understand the intrinsic cultural and market behaviour differences in the US and Asia.
Goal is to build a company with best-of-kind practices from various companies as the best vehicle to manage employee money - an advisory for Investors by investors.
