The HL Group has progressed significantly over the last few years and it has become a key player in the heavy equipment, marine and transportation industry, striving to provide a complete range of value-added heavy lifting logistics services to our customers with safety, efficiency and competitive pricing.

In 1980, the Group started with one of its first companies, Hup Leck Crane and Transport Services, that was formed with three partners: Mr. Thng Kian Tong, Mr. Leow Boon Tiam, and Mr. Tan Eng Lai. It started its business operation with a locally-made 15 tonne mobile truck crane. Its principal activities then were heavy haulage and heavy lifting. Since then, the Group has grown in size with substantial capital investment in plant and equipment, increased employment of employees, and enlarged offices and industrial spaces. Currently, the Group provides services such as heavy haulage and lifting, tug & barge rental, inland & marine transportation, engineering, trading, building & construction equipment rental, warehousing services, handling of dangerous & explosive cargoes among others.

With our large fleet of vehicles numbering more than 120 vehicles comprising of mobile cranes ranging from 20 tonnes to 400 tonnes, prime movers, lorries, lorry cranes and all types of trailers, we are capable of ensuring smooth heavy haulage operations. On top of that, we have a team of experienced and capable personnel to cater to all sorts of job scope and situations. In addition, our personnel is capable of working out a concise operation plan that includes forecast details and time schedule before carrying out its operation to ensure safety, timeliness and efficiency.

Our computer system is linked onto broadband with PSAs Portnet and Tradenet and MPAs Marinet for speedy processing of shipping documents resulting in faster clearance of cargoes.

As we are approaching into the electronic age, we are merging the conventional method of selling our products and services from a totally brick and mortar manner to one that uses the click and mortar system whereby you can order for your products and services from the comfort of your offices, your home or even when you are out of Singapore. As such, we have enabled the E-Commerce system for your total convenience.

Our Fleet

Currently, we own and operate more than 120 vehicles comprising of the following fleet:

a) Various lifting capacity cranes of German & Japanese made ranging from 10 tonnes to 400 tonnes to cater to a host of industrial, construction and marine projects.

b) Various land and marine transport equipment of different capacities and sizes that includes prime movers, lorries with hydraulic cranes, skeletal/platform/tri-axle/lowbed trailers, cometto trailers, tug boats and barges among others.
