Interbore Pte Ltd was originally founded in Singapore in 1997 by four partners keen to fill a niche in the foundation engineering market at the outset of the asian economic crisis.

The company was formed specifically to offer specialised off-shore reverse circulation drilling services to the contractors involved with the expansion of changi east phase 3.

The four partners had a combined experience of over 80 years in the fields of geotechnical engineering, specialised foundation equipment, design, logistics and project and contract management.

After the completion of changi east, the partners resumed their respective careers and the company maintained the role of providing technical support on a consultancy basis to the foundation industry in singapore.

In 2008, again at the onset of what is a global economic crisis, two of the original partners have revived Interbore to offer yet another niche service to the industry which is currently dominated by large multi-national construction companies.
