Kian Huat was founded in 1988 as a building restoration and renovation contractor collaborating with architects, developers and designers in Singapore.

In 1999 Kian Huat was incorporated and known as Kian huat Decoration Construction Pte Ltd to take on building projects.

By 2004 Kian Huat had garnered the expertise and experience required in various fields including M&E, Basement Works, Building Materials, Industry's Guidelines etc to venture into Design and Build residential and commercial projects.

Kian Huat had recognized the importance of Re-invention, Quality Control and Workplace Safety early. The company was steered to put in place a quality, health and safety management system to achieve the high standards set by its clients.

85% of today's project work is carried out by Kian Huat's own pool of trained workers with more specialized and niche aspects of the project by subcontractors to ensure tight quality control.

Kian Huat had also expanded overseas to source for quality, exquisite decorative materials to meet the requirements of demanding projects.

The company has achieved OHSAS 18001:2007 in 2007, the highest bizSAFE certification bizSAFE STAR in 2008 and ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 certifications in 2009. Kian Huat is fully in compliance to Singapore's construction regulations and laws during the construction stages. Kian Huat's management and workers are also licensed to supervise and carry out working at height.

The implementation and effectiveness of the various systems is clearly reflected with Kian Huat's zero accident record.
