Company Profile
L Y Chan Pte Ltd was established in 1st July 2003 by Mr Chan Lim Yan.
Mr Chan Lim Yan is a professional marine engineer & naval architect with more than 35 years of experience in the maritime industry.
Having earned his BSc in Naval Architecture at Glasgow University, he started his maritime training in Keppel Shipyard as an apprentice in the early 1970s and has also undergone sea-going training with Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) in 1980s.
He worked as a supervising newbuilding engineer for NOL newbuildings in Japan, Korea and Singapore. Then he joined the Salvage Association where he was staff surveyor attending to various types of casualties in hull and machinery damages as well as warranty surveys.

Our company is an affiliate of Marine Cadcam Pte Ltd in Singapore and its wholly-owned subsidiary, PT Marine Cadcam Indonesia in Sekupang, Batam.
The expertise and engineering workforce of all three companies are pooled together with the main base in Batam with more than 50 staff members along with a small design and marketing team in Singapore.
