Priority was founded in 1985 in response to the burgeoning need in South East Asia for creative communications services. As the ASEAN countries including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia began to attract the attention of the MNCs on the lookout for new market opportunities, likewise they needed a secure base from which to build their regional expansion.
In this context, Singapore aggressively promoted its infrastructure and geographic advantages, firmly establishing its position as one of the key business centres within the Asia Pacific. This stands today and many multinationals, including the media companies, leading financial and professional services organisations as well as household names in the consumer and community sectors continue to base their regional operations here; making Singapore an ideal base for any regional outreach activities.
