Raised in an impecunious family, Mr. Steven Pang has started working since a very young age, helping his mother to sell NasiLemak on the streets to provide additional income for the family. He was never academically inclined and spent most of his childhood helping out at his fathers coffee shop. He then left school at Secondary One and took up his first job as an electrician, earning only $15.00 per day. Shortly after his National Service stint, Mr Pang and his brother took over reins of managing his fathers coffee shop. He was greatly well known as a street kid with business acumen. After a series of ups and downs, Mr Pang secured his first breakthrough by opening his very own Seafood Restaurant in 1995. A decade later, he bought over Goodtrust Eating House in Woodlands Centre Road, venturing in a totally different arena ? a Halal Eating Establishment.Throughout his journey in the F&B industry even up till today, Mr Pang firmly believes that quality of food and service must be top-notch to upkeep a sustainable growing business. In 2008, Mr Pang established Sedap Rasa Catering to meet the demands of his customers for Halal-Certified catering. With unwavering strong support from the public, an internal overhaul was needed in order to better serve customers. With a meticulously selected team of devoted professionals and by utilizing the industrys best practices, Rasa Rasa Group Catering Services LLP was inaugurated in 2010. ?Rasa Rasa can be interpreted as the Sense of Taste. Mr Pang is actively in touch with latest business development trends and practices; he is constantly looking for opportunities for improvements and growth in order to cater to wider market range. In 2014, Rasa Rasa Food Fiesta Restaurant was opened in Jalan Teck Whye following the success in Woodlands. Besides catering and coffee houses, in efforts to bring about a wider variety to his customers, ?Taste Garden by Rasa Rasa (located at Orto Yishun) is the latest addition to the Rasa Rasa family, providing medium to high end casual dining.

In early 2015, Mr. Steven Pang welcomed on-board his new business partner ? Mr Dexter Lim.
