The demand for clean drinking water is ever increasing but access to clean drinking water may be expensive or not even an option. Brackish water and seawater are abundant, cheap and renewable, but they need to be purified to make drinkable water. Reverse Osmosis has emerged as the simplest and most energy efficient method for desalination.
Salinex Pte Ltd was created to leverage advances in oilfield technology to the Water and Alternative Energy Industry. Its proprietary technology is applied to the energy extraction phase in the reverse osmosis process to maximize recovery waste energy, hence significantly reducing the cost of permeate production. It was founded by professionals with over 35 years in the engineering field. The technical team owns several patents ranging from applications in the field of offshore oil and gas to water desalination.

Salinex is committed to reducing our carbon footprint by minimizing the amount of energy used in the production of permeate. Our goal is to achieve the lowest specific energy consumption in the reverse osmosis process.
