Sasha Conlan founded The Barbie Girls in October 2011. Frustrated by the lack of good quality, healthy, fresh produce in Singapore, Sasha set up the business with the aim of sourcing and sharing top quality meat. Her first product was fresh lamb from New Zealand and to date, this remains a bestseller. Sasha quickly added top quality steaks and fresh sausages/burgers and was soon offering "everything for the perfect BBQ". The name "The Barbie Girls" was the idea of Sasha's kids who connected "Barbie/BBQ" with Barbie Girls (Sasha being a girl!)

Deliveries were initially only once a week, with Sasha doing the deliveries herself! The Barbie Girls now have a custom fitted cool truck (with fridge and freezer compartments) and a fantastic full time driver. Deliveries are now Monday to Saturday and are Island wide.
