In his early days, Bernard was a talented interior designer and a master carpenter, specialising in home dcor and furnishing. Bernie, on the other hand, was a skilled designer and consultant with a keen eye for innovative conceptions of household furnishings. Having travelled extensively, the couple were often in search of unique furnishing and inventive inputs in their interior designs. Consequent to their travels to Australia in the mid-1980s, they were introduced to water bedding and floatation mattresses which were the new-wave of sleeping comfort there. It was then, both partners decided to bring the unique sleeping floatation to Singapore. C
