Dr Phua Sin Yong is a speech language therapist with more than 20 years of experience. She was awarded the Public Service Commission (PSC) Scholarship to pursue her studies in Speech Therapy. She subsequently obtained her PhD in Sydney, Australia. Dr Phua worked both locally and internationally and has published in international peer reviewed medical journals. She was the first speech therapist in Singapore to practice FEES. Her main interests are in cognitive rehabilitation and learning disabilities. Dr Phua has been invited to speak at international meetings as well as conduct workshops at Universities and conferences internationally.
