More than statistics, what truly defines Tramontina is its ongoing endeavor to improve peoples lives.

This endeavor has resulted in over 18,000 items that serve different purposes and have distinctive features, but which all have the same values of a unique brand.

Tramontina is recognized by its top quality in over 120 countries. The reputation of this brand is based on its innovation, design, technology, and human capital in fulfilling its mission: to add value to the consumer in different countries and cultures, at different times and occasions.

The more than 7,000 employees that work at the factories and other operational and commercial sites are the primary force that propels the brand. Valuing and appreciating these employees is essential to maintaining a strong Tramontina.

The communities in which the company operates help contribute toward this goal. From its manufacturing processes to its operational strategies, every action Tramontina takes is in accordance with the strictest standards of environmental management and social responsibility. This special care is evident in how it preserves matters of cultural heritage and provides for the common good.

This has been Tramontinas way of conducting business since 1911, when Valentin Tramontina founded a small iron mill in the town of Carlos Barbosa in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The son of Italian immigrants, Valentin built a solid business based on the ideals of dedication, hard work, and delivering reliable, durable and high-quality products.

More than 100 years later, Valentins legacy remains alive in Tramontinas products, brand, values, work environment, and above all, in the daily conduct of each of Tramontinas sites. The result is something that transcends statistics: the joy of doing things beautifully well.
