The founder, Mr. Phua, (or affectionately known as 'Jackie' or '??') first started off doing photo-lamination frameworks in the early '80s. After a short stint in Thailand where he had established a network of resources, he came back to Singapore and set up his own workshop. The present day workshop has been the only place Mr. Phua and his team has known for the past three decades.

The company has weathered both good times and hard ones. But it is the determination of the people behind the tools and machine that is constantly pushing the business forward. From photo-lamination frameworks, the experience there spurred the company to venture into fabricating jewellery showcases and boxes, and thru the '90s, we were the sole supplier of jewellery boxes and showcases to established jewelers like Goldheart Jewellery. Our fine boxes even reached the shores of our friendly neighbor - Brunei, when the Sultan of Brunei requested a large order of fine jewel boxes for his daughter's wedding celebration.

From the year 2000s, Wayman Enterprise started to take on projects for religious communities and education institutes. With a keen interest in the arts, Mr. Phua devoted part of his time to construct historical artifacts for students in our local primary / secondary schools to learn and appreciate the cultural values of the country.

As recent as 2009, we were recommended by art directors and prop masters to design and fabricate film (feature films /TVCs) sets, props. Till date, we have received and completed such projects for more than 10 films or TVCs.

These are Wayman Enterprise's achievements over the last thirty years in the business. And we hope to bring more contribution in many more years to come.
