APIs Engine Oil Licensing and Certification System (EOLCS) is a voluntary licensing and certification program that authorizes engine oil marketers who meet specified requirements to use the API Engine Oil Quality Marks.

APIs Engine Oil Quality Marks-the API Service Symbol Donut? and Certification Mark Starburst?-help consumers identify quality engine oils for their gasoline- and diesel-powered vehicles.

Check out APIs website for EOLCS program: API ELOCS

Not all oils which state that they meet or exceed the API SM grade are actually certified by API. Only oils which carry the API Service Symbol Donut? and Certification Mark Starburst? are truly certified by API. Look out for this API mark on the right on every X-REV bottle. It is your guarantee of unsurpassed quality.
